What we process and why
When you visit the site
Like all websites, our web server receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and the time. We use it to deliver the pages, keep the site secure and find errors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Log files are deleted on an ongoing basis.
Protection against misuse
When someone signs in, creates an account, asks for a new password or uses the contact form, we register the IP address, the email address used, the browser and the time. We use it to stop password guessing and spam. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)). The records are deleted after 90 days.
If you create an account
We store your name, your email address, your password (only as an encrypted hash, never in plain text) and information about your sign-ins. We use it to give you access to your account. Legal basis: our agreement with you (art. 6(1)(b)). The data is kept until you ask us to delete your account.
If you contact us
When you use the contact form or write to us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use it only to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)). We delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, normally within 12 months.
Information about businesses
The site shows public information from the Central Business Register (CVR), such as the names and addresses of places of business. For sole proprietorships the business name can include the owner's name. We only show information that is already public in CVR, to provide market statistics. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)). Changes registered in CVR are reflected here automatically after the next data update. You can object to our use – see your rights below.
Cookies
We only use necessary cookies and cookies that remember choices you make yourself. See the cookie policy.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or share personal data for marketing. Our hosting provider and email provider process data on our behalf as data processors under data processing agreements. We only disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored as hashes, access to the administration area is limited to named staff accounts, which can be protected with two-factor authentication, and sign-in attempts are limited.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict the processing, object to it and receive your data in a portable format. Write to us via the contact page or at [email protected] – we answer within one month.
You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, www.datatilsynet.dk.
Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date of the latest change is shown below.
